Holy crap! Dan Kennedy is on Twitter! I am stabbing myself in the eye with a pen in shame of not knowing this sooner!

I used to work for a production company and we would get all sorts of books and plays and manuscripts and shit and Kennedy’s book, Loser Goes First, was laying around the office for like a year and so finally I took it home and read almost the whole thing in an evening. Fantastic memoir writing. Not heavy metaphorical stuff but really awesome. If you like Chuck Klosterman or David Rakoff or pretty much anyone on This American Life, get this book.
