Just my $.02, but then I’m old and bitter.  I’ve seen love come and I’ve seen love go.  It always comes, and it always goes.  The calculus of love is a bitter equation.  I think to live without the promise of love is a mistake, but to live only for the promise of love is an even bigger mistake.

I agree with Friedrich, to a degree.  I think with beauty does come great happiness, but also great pain in equal measure.  The bigger they come, the harder they fall.
