The Bible offers few clues: Celebrations of Jesus’ Nativity are not mentioned in the Gospels or Acts; the date is not given, not even the time of year. The biblical reference to shepherds tending their flocks at night when they hear the news of Jesus’ birth (Luke 2:8) might suggest the spring lambing season; in the cold month of December, on the other hand, sheep might well have been corralled.

Wishing all you Tumblr Goddesses and Gawds a very very Happy Christmas and a Merry to the Nines New Year….small observation, how come all the Goddesses of Tumblr are rather interesting and have heaps of stuff to educate and enlighten…and the lads all send me lame porn and cars and dope stuff….oops…I forgot about those to gals who send me nothing but fashion shoe things and one other who sends only bears in jammies…sigh…you’re all fine and wonderful….the whiskey lace porridge is getting to me…
