I just started reading this… I’ve cycled through several of the world’s major cities, but nothing like David Byrne.
It’s interesting, and I don’t want to pronounce a verdict yet as I haven’t even finished it.  But I will say it offers more than I expected in some areas, and much less in others.  This book is more about culture and lifestyle than cycling per se…his [David Byrne’s] central argument is that a bike is the best way to REALLY see a city, and the writings flow from this thesis…
